Department of Plant Biotechnology
“Engineering Plants, Empowering Futures – Skilling Learners for Green Innovation.”
Introduction
The Department of Plant Biotechnology at Aspire Tech Park is a future-focused learning platform that enables learners from botany, life sciences, and biotechnology backgrounds to move beyond traditional theory and gain advanced laboratory, molecular, and product-development skills needed in the agri-biotech industry and research sector.
Designed with inputs from domain experts and institutional partners, this department offers a complete skill map from tissue culture and bioproducts to CRISPR-based plant genome editing and marker-assisted trait improvement. Learners are trained for real-world projects, not just academic exams.

Currently Active
Skill workshops in plant tissue culture, biofertilizers, and molecular diagnostics are running this semester.
Courses Under Validation
